MURU WINES

MURU WINES

Logo design

I was tasked to design a logo for Muru Wines, where the client’s request was to include grapes as part of the overall visual concept. Based on the logo design, I also created a preliminary color palette, which is shown in the brochure below. Inspired by the violet hue of the grapes, I aimed to create a distinct, modern, and trendy expression.

When I designed the Paresseux label, the goal was to use an animal character, as animals are generally perceived as cute and likable. I first designed the label for the rosé wine and chose the sloth, as it humorously represents relaxed enjoyment. This inspired the idea: ”Paresseux Rosé – enjoy a glass in the sun after a good lunch.” Paresseux means ”lazy” in English.

The product line has since expanded with the same concept, where the sloth’s hat always changes (depending on the product), but always fitting the theme, such as the country. The color palette is colorful, distinctive, and cheerful, complementing the sloth’s relaxed nature and bringing a smile to the viewer’s face.

Muru Wines imports quality wines, and I have had the opportunity to design promotional flyers for them, where the wine’s character and style are highlighted. For example, in the flyer on the right, the wine’s fresh and fruity character is emphasized in a visually appealing way.
